In 1910, as the local Council of the Boy Scouts of America, our region’s first Scout troops were established in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton areas. Today, Minsi Trails Council serves nearly 4500 youth with a variety of programs led by almost 2000 adult volunteers in the Lehigh Valley, Poconos, and surrounding counties in Eastern Pennsylvania and Warren County in New Jersey.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) will rebrand to Scouting America on February 8, 2025, the organization’s 115th anniversary. The name change is part of a rebranding effort to make the organization more inclusive and welcoming to all youth and families.
